Full job description

The Opportunity

Ross Ventures has been managing commercial and residential properties in Fredericton for over 55 years. We're a local, family-owned company and we take pride in the relationships we've built — with our tenants, our community, and the people on our team. We're looking for someone who fits that same description.

The technical skills matter, but they're not the whole picture. We want someone who shows up, does honest work, and treats our tenants the way they'd want to be treated themselves. If that's you, we'd like to talk.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Routine maintenance and repairs across our properties, including minor building repairs, equipment servicing, landscaping, and snow removal
  • Regular property inspections to identify and address issues before they become bigger problems
  • Responding promptly to maintenance requests from residential and commercial tenants
  • Coordinating and working alongside outside contractors when specialized repairs are needed
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with tenants
  • Participating in emergency planning and being available when unexpected situations arise
  • Completing all work safely and to a high standard

What We're Looking For

  • Honest, dependable, and easy to work with
  • Experience in general maintenance — knowledge of trades such as plumbing, HVAC, or electrical is a real asset
  • Comfortable with tools, equipment, and materials used in building maintenance
  • Able to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks at once
  • Valid driver's licence and clean driving record
  • The kind of person tenants are glad to see coming

What You Can Expect From Us

A stable role with a company that has deep roots in this community, a team that respects your time and effort, and work that's varied enough to keep things interesting.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
