Full job description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee our clients construction projects from inception to completion. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and closeout of Infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, cost, and client expectations are met or exceeded.

Pay: $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year

What You'll Do

  • Lead multiple complex civil infrastructure projects with significant financial, operational, and stakeholder complexity.
  • Own project performance including cost control, forecasting, schedule management, and margin protection.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and execution strategies.
  • Manage contracts, procurement, subcontractors, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee project controls including cost tracking, WIP reporting, billing, and financial forecasting.
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays, overruns, or disruptions.
  • Lead negotiations related to scope, cost, schedule, and contract changes.
  • Coordinate closely with field teams on sequencing, logistics, and construction execution.
  • Manage relationships with clients, consultants, municipalities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead project closeout including deficiencies, documentation, as-builts, and final reporting.
  • Mentor and support Project Coordinators and Junior Project Managers.
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to best practices in project delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–10+ years of progressive civil/infrastructure construction project management experience.
  • Strong background in earthworks, sewer and watermain, utilities, restoration, and traffic management.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, procurement, contracts, and subcontractors.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, specifications, and project controls.
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools, Excel, and construction project management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • PMP, Gold Seal, or CET/C.Tech designation considered an asset.
