Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction knowledge, and proficiency with industry-standard management software. This role involves coordinating teams, managing schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.

Duties

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth workflow and timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Utilize tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and construction estimating software to track progress and manage documentation.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including bidding and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor project progress through regular site visits; ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation efficiently.
  • Lead project meetings to communicate updates, resolve issues, and align team efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and client specifications.
  • Maintain detailed records of project activities for reporting and future reference.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction management or related roles with a strong understanding of construction processes.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with construction management software such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D.
  • Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost control methods.
  • Familiarity with heavy civil projects or general contracting is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret technical schematics and construction documents accurately.
  • Relevant certifications or degrees in construction management or civil engineering are advantageous but not mandatory.
