BMROSS specializes in providing engineering and planning support and services to small and medium-sized communities in southwestern Ontario. Our firm undertakes the following types of projects: design of water, wastewater, stormwater and transportation infrastructure, design of bridges, culverts and buildings, municipal studies, municipal development review, construction, project and contract management, environmental assessments, infrastructure planning, asset management, surveys and data management. We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Structural group.

Responsibilities
  • The preferred individual will work on building, bridge, and harbour infrastructure projects in Ontario out of our Goderich, Kincardine, or Mount Forest office.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years’ experience with building, and / or bridge, and/or harbour related projects, and be licensed to practice engineering in Ontario.
  • The candidate should have a strong working knowledge of the Canadian Highway Design Bridge Code, the building code, and standards for concrete, steel, masonry, and timber.
  • Candidates must also demonstrate competencies in effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Candidates are also required to have a valid G license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in Ontario or eligible for licensure.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office is an asset.
  • A valid driver’s license and own transportation is required.

Salary Range
  • $45 to $65 per hour, depending on experience.
