Lead the IT Project Management function for a large and evolving enterprise technology environment.
Based in Regina, Saskatchewan, the Director of IT Project Management will establish best practices, build governance frameworks, mentor project managers, and oversee the successful delivery of complex enterprise-wide technology projects.
You will manage a diverse portfolio that includes ERP implementations, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity initiatives, CRM systems, cloud technologies, and custom development projects.
This role combines strategic leadership, operational oversight, stakeholder management, and hands-on execution in a highly visible environment.
Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
You will oversee enterprise IT project management operations and portfolio execution, including:
Architect and implement standardized project management frameworks and methodologies
Champion project management best practices across IT and business units
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Project Managers
Build a high-performing project management center of excellence
Oversee the full lifecycle of enterprise IT projects from planning through implementation and post-project analysis
Manage large-scale technology initiatives involving ERP, CRM, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms
Develop executive-level reporting for project progress, financial health, risks, and resource allocation
Conduct cost-benefit analyses, ROI evaluations, and risk assessments
Oversee project budgeting, financial controls, and funding requirements
Collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives
Manage relationships with third-party vendors, consultants, and contractors
Establish and lead formal change management processes to support technology adoption
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the project management function
Ensure accountability, consistency, and execution excellence across the project portfolio
Qualifications
10+ years of direct experience in IT project management leadership
Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex enterprise technology projects
Strong leadership experience with coaching, mentoring, and team development responsibilities
PMP designation strongly preferred
Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field considered an asset
Experience managing projects involving ERP, CRM, cybersecurity, custom development, and IT infrastructure
Technical familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and/or Dynamics 365 preferred
Strong financial management, resource planning, and stakeholder communication skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities
Experience within manufacturing, industrial, dealership, or supply chain environments would be considered a significant asset
This role is best suited for candidates with strong enterprise IT project management leadership experience gained within complex private-sector organizations.
Please note: Candidates currently employed within Crown Corporations or Government environments will not be considered for this opportunity.
