Ideal Candidate

This position is well suited for:

• Recent graduates of a Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, CNC Programming, Tool & Die, Machining, or related program.
• Current co-op students seeking practical industry experience.
• Individuals with coursework or hands-on experience in CAD/CAM software, CNC programming, machining, or manufacturing processes.
• Self-motivated learners who enjoy problem-solving and working in a team environment.

Updated Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma, degree, certification, or current enrollment in a related technical program.
• Experience with Mastercam through school, co-op placements, internships, or previous employment.
• Familiarity with CNC machining principles and manufacturing environments.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or similar CAD software is considered an asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and processes.
