Senior Program Manager – Aerospace Manufacturing

About us

Mecaer America Inc. is part of Mecaer Aviation Group (MAG), a global aerospace company specializing in landing gear systems and aircraft components. Our Laval site is growing, and we are looking for a strong leader to support our operations and programs.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to manage aerospace programs in a manufacturing environment.

Important: This is not an IT or software role — we are looking for someone with experience in production, operations, or manufacturing project management.

You will act as the main point of contact between internal teams and clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with high quality.

What you’ll do

Manage ongoing programs

  • Follow customer orders from start to delivery
  • Ensure deadlines, quality, and costs are met
  • Communicate with clients
  • Work with production, planning, quality, and engineering teams
  • Track performance and resolve issues

Lead new programs (NPI)

  • Plan and launch new projects
  • Build timelines, budgets, and action plans
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Identify risks and ensure execution

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Bilingual (English & French)

Nice to have:

  • ERP/MRP experience
  • PMP certification
  • Aerospace experience

Nous recherchons un(e) Gestionnaire de programmes senior pour gérer des programmes aéronautiques dans un environnement manufacturier.

Important: Ce poste n’est pas un rôle en informatique ou en programmation — nous recherchons un profil ayant de l’expérience en production, opérations ou gestion de projets manufacturiers.

Vous serez le point de contact principal entre les équipes internes et les clients afin d’assurer la livraison des projets dans les délais, les coûts et la qualité attendus.

Responsabilités

Gérer les programmes en production

  • Suivre les commandes clients de la réception à la livraison
  • Assurer le respect des délais, de la qualité et des coûts
  • Communiquer avec les clients
  • Collaborer avec les équipes production, planification, qualité et ingénierie
  • Suivre la performance et résoudre les enjeux

Lancer de nouveaux programmes (NPI)

  • Planifier et lancer de nouveaux projets
  • Établir les échéanciers, budgets et plans d’action
  • Coordonner les équipes multidisciplinaires
  • Identifier les risques et assurer la bonne exécution

Profil recherché

  • 5+ ans d’expérience en gestion de projets ou de programmes
  • Expérience en manufacturier, aéronautique ou industriel
  • Leadership et excellentes habiletés de communication
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités et travailler sous pression
  • Bilingue (français et anglais)

Atouts :

  • Expérience avec ERP/MRP
  • Certification PMP
  • Expérience en aéronautique
