Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Program Manager to oversee multiple projects and initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive program management experience, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams. This role offers an opportunity to lead strategic programs, ensure successful execution, and contribute to the overall growth of our company. Candidates with a background in administrative tasks, budgeting, and supervising teams will thrive in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer requirements are met and are in the best interests of LHM by creating the program charter, baseline plan, and other program management components. Maintain strong customer relationships by responding to all customer requests and serving as the primary point of contact for assigned program activities, status and problem resolution
  • Provide weekly and monthly status reports as required
  • Participate in production meetings and address critical issues on complex programs. Lead the team in developing action plans to improve performance
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive program plans aligned with organizational goals
  • Coordinate and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Lead and supervise project teams, providing guidance and support throughout project lifecycles
  • Monitor program progress, identify risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Manage budgets for various programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including executives, team members, and external partners
  • Prepare reports on program status, outcomes, and key performance indicators for senior management
  • Organize programs by defining and identifying required expertise. Oversee and contribute to task planning on programs including resource requirements. Establish and communicate overall priorities and changing program requirements to functional areas.
  • Responsible for monitoring programs in the areas of scope, scheduling, costing, engineering and contractual changes. This includes the implementation of corrective actions covering all areas of program responsibility
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the aerospace manufacturing sector with complex components and assemblies.
  • Experience in manufacturing of landing gear components would be a definite asset
  • Proven experience in program management or related roles with a track record of successfully managing complex projects
  • Strong administrative experience with excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets effectively
  • Supervising experience leading diverse teams or cross-functional groups
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
