Summary

We are seeking a Print Production Manager to oversee our print operations at our location in Canada. This pivotal role ensures the seamless execution of high-quality print projects, aligning with our commitment to excellence and innovation in the printing industry, overseeing team members, enforcing company policies and rules, health and safety regulations, and optimizing production efficiency, machine implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, supply inventory, tools, and building renovations and improvements.
Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of print production processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Collaborate and lead all department managers and teams to optimize accurate and timely order delivery, reducing reprint and rework, ensuring print specifications and quality assurance and and optimizing workflows using 5S Lean Methodology.
  • Oversee client and account management by monitoring customer service levels, product knowledge, continuous improvement
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of printing equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Implement quality control procedures to meet company standards.
  • Manage production schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Lead, train, and support the print production team to foster a productive work environment.
  • Stay updated on new printing technologies and materials to enhance service offerings.
  • Coordinate, direct and organize contractors, vendors, installers, technicians.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in print production management or a similar role within the printing industry.
  • Strong understanding of various printing techniques, materials, and finishing processes.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Professional Leadership skills with experience supervising a team and following up, holding delegation accountable.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Preferred: Experience with digital printing technologies and specialty materials.
