About Us: Maple Armor is at the forefront of innovation in the fire alarm industry. We provide cutting-edge fire safety solutions that save lives and protect properties. We are seeking a forward-thinking Product Manager to guide our fire alarm systems' strategic direction.

Position Overview: The Product Manager will oversee the entire product life cycle of our fire alarm systems, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing management. This role will collaborate with various departments to ensure product alignment with customer needs, market trends, and company goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and implement a product strategy that aligns with market demands and the company's vision.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitors within the fire alarm industry.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Sales teams to develop products that meet customer needs and industry standards.
  • Product Launch: Coordinate product launches, including marketing, sales training, and customer communication.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality by working closely with QA teams and addressing issues in a timely manner.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to gather feedback and understand their needs and preferences. Communicate with ULC
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including enhancements, updates, and end-of-life decisions.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on product performance, making adjustments as necessary to achieve goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably within the fire alarm or related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of fire alarm systems and technologies.
  • CFAA certification would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with product management software/tools.
