Network Security Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Network Security Analyst for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Network Security Analyst - Job Description:
The Network Security Analyst will be responsible for assessing and optimizing firewall rules across multiple global platforms, working closely with DevOps and Automation teams to enhance processes. The role involves creating and improving documentation, participating in technology meetings, and supporting audit engagements.

Network Security Analyst - Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments of firewall rules across multiple firewall platforms globally
  • Collaborate with DevOps/Automation teams for process optimization and automation
  • Create and improve process documentation and prepare activity records
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions for new technology and service deployments
  • Develop, code, document, and execute programs of low to intermediate complexity
  • Provide input into technical specifications for medium to large projects
  • Contribute to project completion by identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies
  • Support audit/regulatory engagements, including evidence collection and audit issue management

Network Security Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
  • Experience with firewall rule assessment and optimization
  • Strong understanding of network security principles
  • Proficiency in coding and documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in audit/regulatory engagements
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment

Network Security Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices
  • Experience with process automation
  • Knowledge of multiple firewall platforms
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of risk mitigation strategies

Network Security Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position.
