Lift Attendant

Start date: October 26th, 2026

Are you looking at spending a season working in the Canadian Rockies? We have winter seasonal roles that will leave you with awesome experiences and friendships that will last a lifetime. Our guests are safe and happy on the mountain as you carefully manage lift lines and ticket validation. You prioritize safety and teamwork, while maximizing guest and employee experience. You take pride in providing our guests the best vacation and recreation experience possible.

You will:

  • Act as a “Resort Ambassador” to guests by being familiar with various resort products and services.
  • Comply with all safety regulations of assigned tasks and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program.
  • Assist with ticket validation and line management, and direct guests appropriately.
  • Assist guests getting on lifts through friendly guidance and instruction.
  • Perform inspection and documentation of pre-operational and operational checks.
  • Perform general outdoor housekeeping duties, including basic maintenance or carpentry duties.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to exceeding guests’ expectations daily through work.
  • Direct traffic and aid guests (special events, conditions, and building locations).
  • Ensure signs, ropes, gates, and pylons are in place and maintained for guest and staff safety.
  • Safely understand and execute all emergency procedures, including lift evacuation procedure.
  • Work in conjunction with Snow Safety and Dispatch to share important information.
  • Work extended, flexible shifts, including weekends, in extreme weather conditions on resort.


You:

  • Understand all aspects of the Lift Operators Manual and all emergency procedures.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment etc. more than twenty-five pounds.
  • Able to communicate and have strong attention to detail effectively verbally.
  • Follow all of Nakiska’s policies and procedures.
  • Are highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Possess moderate to advanced skiing/riding ability – preferred.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays with standing cold temperatures.
