Full job description

A well-staffed private residence in central Toronto is looking for an experienced Executive Housekeeper to help keep the home organized, well maintained, and ready for daily living and entertaining. Working alongside the Estate Manager and household team, this person will take an active role in the day-to-day care and presentation of the residence.

The position would suit someone who is highly organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable taking initiative. A hands-on approach, sound judgment, and discretion are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing wardrobe organization, seasonal rotations, and arrangements for professional garment care, with some basic ironing and pressing required
  • Monitoring household supplies and inventories, anticipating needs, and keeping the residence well stocked
  • Coordinating and working alongside the housekeeping team to maintain consistent standards
  • Keeping closets, cupboards, storage spaces, and household belongings carefully organized
  • Conducting regular checks of the residence and flagging anything requiring cleaning, repair, maintenance, or further attention
  • Completing and tracking routine preventative maintenance tasks
  • Checking entrances, terraces, and outdoor spaces to ensure they are tidy and properly maintained
  • Preparing simple floral arrangements
  • Assisting the Chef with preparations and service for entertaining at the residence
  • Arranging household purchases, receiving deliveries, and coordinating service providers as needed
  • Helping ensure the home is consistently welcoming, prepared, and running smoothly

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a private residence
  • Experience caring for and organizing a high-end wardrobe, including ironing and pressing
  • Strong English language skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail
  • Initiative and the ability to anticipate household needs
  • Ability to work independently, follow through on tasks, and take ownership of responsibilities
  • A professional, discreet, dependable, and flexible approach
  • A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record

This is an active, practical role for someone who enjoys caring for a home, creating order, and working with a team to maintain high standards.

Pay: $90,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
