We have an opening for a Machine Operator - Saws, on our day shift.

Responsibilities include:

• Review work orders and determine extrusion and material requirements.
• Operate metal fabrication equipment, including standard saws, radio arm saws, shear, notcher and roller in accordance with safe work procedures.
• Plan, and prepare material required for job completion. Ensure optimization of material yields.
• Cleans and prepares surface to be welded. Sets up, assembles, and tracks weld parts.
• Assists in other areas of production as assigned.
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred.
• 1 – 3 years’ experience in fabrication of signage.
• Previous machine operating experience in a metal manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to read and write English, must have good math skills.
• Ability to demonstrate effective listening and verbal skills.
