Clarus Electric Corp. is currently seeking a motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. Based in the Lower Mainland of B.C., we specialize in residential and commercial electrical construction, delivering projects ranging from multi-family developments to commercial tenant improvements and custom electrical installations.

This is an opportunity to become a key member of our operations team, working closely with Project Managers, Estimators, Site Foremen, Suppliers, and General Contractors to help ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

What You'll Do

• Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of multiple electrical construction projects.
• Prepare and track purchase orders, material deliveries, and equipment rentals.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, site foremen, and general contractors to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Track project schedules, milestones, and deadlines.
• Prepare and manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, closeout documents, and O&M manuals.
• Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and job costing.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify scheduling or procurement issues.
• Maintain organized digital and physical project files.
• Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes when required.
• Support field staff by coordinating labour, materials, inspections, and project logistics.
• Provide administrative support to the Project Management team as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Project Coordinator, Construction Coordinator, Project Administrator, or similar role is preferred.
• Experience in the electrical or construction industry is considered a strong asset.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience using Procore is considered a strong asset.
• Experience with project management, accounting, or construction software is considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Positive, professional attitude with a strong customer service mindset.
