Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Worker / Grass Cutter to join our landscaping team. This role involves maintaining and beautifying outdoor spaces through various lawn and landscape maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical aptitude, and be committed to delivering high-quality results. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties.

Duties

  • Mowing lawns and trimming grass using hand tools, power tools, and riding mowers
  • Performing landscaping tasks including planting, pruning, and mulching
  • Maintaining and repairing gardening tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
  • Assisting with construction-related tasks such as installing features or structures in outdoor spaces
  • Conducting routine landscape maintenance to ensure healthy plant growth and visual appeal
  • Ensuring safety protocols are followed during all operations and maintenance activities
  • Performing general site cleanup and debris removal after projects are completed

Skills

  • Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge related to operating and repairing gardening and construction equipment
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators
  • Strong understanding of lawn care techniques including mowing, trimming, fertilizing
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
  • Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
  • Attention to detail for precise trimming, planting, and maintenance tasks
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
