Customer Care Associate

Location: Humber River Hospital

Job Type: Part-time/Casual

Salary: $18.00 per hour

Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

NOTE: This position requires the employee to work at various sites across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) on weekdays, based on operational requirements.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Team Lead/Supervisor, the Customer Care Associate plays a key role in supporting parking operations and ensuring a positive customer experience. This includes assisting customers with parking facilities, resolving inquiries, and maintaining operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site customer assistance and guidance
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
  • Address complaints with empathy and professionalism
  • Monitor security systems and report suspicious activity
  • Troubleshoot parking equipment issues
  • Maintain accurate cash and parking records
  • Enroll/cancel I-PASS for payroll staff and coordinate with payroll
  • Redirect customers to appropriate departments when necessary
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and communication standards
  • Respond promptly to equipment damage reports and initiate service requests
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or higher education
  • Basic computer proficiency (Windows, MS Office)
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Previous customer service experience is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Professional demeanor with a positive and inclusive attitude
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in fast-paced environments
  • Flexible and adaptable to different shifts and work locations
