Full job description

Position Summary:

Monitor the quality of care and safety of of the client by overseeing health-related matters and complying with all rules, regulations, and policies that apply. As this is a consultant position, the hours have historically varied between 2-3 hours per week.

Duties:

  • Coach, train and mentor caregiver team to ensure nursing best practices and maintenance of standards in client care
  • Ensure assigned health-related duties are completed and compliant with written procedures
  • Coordinate training of caregivers in conjunction with physician and other applicable health professional directions, including Society Board
  • Ability to respond in a timely manner to health-related inquiries by either phone, text or other channel of communication
  • When available, participate in medical appointments, staff meetings and other necessary meetings as they are scheduled
  • Management of client medications (maintain supply, training caregivers and documentation)
  • Respond to emergency situations as needed (in person, by phone or text)
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Encourage positive emotional health

Requirements:

  • RN
  • Professional Liability Insurance

Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The consultant may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 3.0 per week
