Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Security and Low Voltage Technician, where you will play a vital role in designing, installing, and maintaining advanced security systems and low voltage infrastructure. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that enhance safety and security across diverse environments. You will be responsible for translating technical schematics into functional systems, troubleshooting complex hardware, and ensuring seamless integration of security technologies. Duties

  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to security and low voltage systems
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain CCTV , Alarm systems, access control panels, and other network infrastructure
  • Configure computer hardware components and network connections to ensure reliable system operation
  • Use power tools and hand tools safely to mount equipment, run wiring, and assemble components according to project specifications
  • Test system functionality through comprehensive diagnostics, ensuring all components operate seamlessly within integrated networks
  • Document installation procedures, system configurations, and maintenance activities accurately for future reference

Skills

  • Proficiency in reading construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings with a focus on low voltage wiring diagrams
  • Strong electrical experience including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and power distribution fundamentals
  • Electronics knowledge related to equipment mounting, sensor placement, and hardware assembly
  • Familiarity with computer networking principles necessary for configuring IP-based security systems
  • Hands-on experience with CCTV cameras, sensors (motion detectors, door/window contacts), IDS components, and telecommunication devices
  • Ability to operate power tools such as drills, saws, crimpers, along with hand tools for precise installations
  • Knowledge of schematics interpretation and blueprint reading to ensure accurate system setup in complex environments
