Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Operate the chopping gun with precision and care.
  • Cut and kit glass fabrics to specifications.
  • Blend resin with catalysts and additives for optimal performance.
  • Perform manual fiberglass layup using brushes, rollers, squeegees, and other hand tools on mold surfaces, following engineering drawings.
  • Apply exterior surface gelcoat manually for superior finishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the general upkeep of the shop.

Advanced Responsibilities for those with aptitude:

  • Secure fittings, nozzles, lugs, and sub-assemblies to primary structures with precision.
  • Conduct visual defect and dimensional conformance inspections of finished products.
  • Apply resin via spray gun for even and consistent coverage.
  • Use the fiberglass chopping gun for FRP “chop” applications with expertise.

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Previous fiberglass manufacturing experience is an asset but not required.

Wage

Starting at $19+ per hour
