  • Support the Planning team in developing drawings and layouts for pipeline and utility projects.
  • Design both plan and profile view drawings of proposed and existing infrastructure.
  • Ensure all drawings meet client, safety, mechanical, and structural standards.
  • Utilize GIS software to plot proposed designs and update as-built information.
  • Produce detailed pipeline drawings that include dimensions, bill of materials, and construction procedures.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and site plans.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Field Operations, and client teams to confirm design concepts and resolve issues.
  • Reference client standards, permit drawings, and municipal requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Record and report issues or discrepancies as required.
  • Perform other drafting-related duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related discipline — or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with CAD software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Esri, e-GIS, or MS Visio.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Experience preparing as-built and utility construction drawings.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and site plans.
  • Knowledge of municipal standards and utility projects (gas distribution experience is an asset).
  • Strong mathematical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Estimating experience considered an asset.

Why Join Us

  • Be part of a supportive, technical, and collaborative team.
  • Hybrid work model offering flexibility.
  • Opportunity to work on diverse utility and infrastructure projects.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
