Full job description

The Sidney Pier Hotel & Spa is seeking an energetic, guest-focused individuals to join our Housekeeping team at our upscale boutique property.

  • Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
  • Post-Probation: Increases to $20.50 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Deliver highest-standard cleaning of guest rooms, floors, and public areas, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping with sharp attention to detail.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen/bathroom fixtures, washrooms, and elevators.
  • Keep guest rooms and storage areas stocked with supplies and amenities.
  • Respond to all guest requests quickly and courteously.
  • Report room defects or repair needs to the Housekeeping supervisor.
  • Maintain productive relationships across departments; assist where needed.
  • Provide exemplary service that reflects The Sidney Pier Hotel & Spa’s core values and hospitality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be legally certified to work in Canada (this is not an LMIA position).
  • Able to complete 8-hour shifts involving standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Pay: $19.00-$20.50 per hour
