We have a close-knit team where everyone supports and works together to get the job done. As a Delivery Driver and become the vital link between our company and our valued customers! In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering food and packaging to our customers. Ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent service with a positive attitude. A typical day you will complete 10-20 deliveries to restaurants, hotels and businesses. As well as 1-3 vendor pickups. Responsibilities include loading products onto a deliver dolly, transporting product into customer locations, and delivering directly to end user. Your expertise in commercial driving, and customer service will help keep operations running smoothly while delivering an outstanding experience to every customer you serve.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load, unload, and secure freight using forklifts, dolly or pallet jacks.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance
• Navigate delivery routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
• Delivering quality products to restaurants, hotels and food service businesses.
• Ensure all orders are accurate and complete.
• Obtain customer signatures of delivery invoices and ensure paperwork is properly completed.
• Issue credits when required and communicate and shortages, damages or discrepancies.
• Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address minor vehicle issues on the road
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and communication with dispatch teams for smooth operations
• Provide a professional and friendly service at each delivery location.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. 3+ years experience in a 3 or 5 ton truck
• Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment in a freight or warehouse setting would be an asset
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
• Ability to operate vehicles and machinery safely in various weather conditions
• Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping
• Physical ability to lift heavy packages and perform manual tasks regularly
