Relevant de la Directrice des ressources humaines et de la formation, le/la conseiller(ère) en ressources humaines est responsable des relations de travail, de l'interprétation et de la conformité de la convention collective, de l’accompagnement et du soutien aux gestionnaires et aux employés, de la gestion de la performance, des dossiers de SST et de l’invalidité (court et long terme), des politiques RH ainsi que des lois applicables. Le poste comprend également le soutien et le remplacement de la spécialiste de la paie et des avantages sociaux, au besoin.
Responsabilités clés
- Collaborez étroitement avec la direction et les employés pour favoriser des relations de travail positives et soutenir des initiatives qui favorisent l'engagement et la productivité.
- Servir de soutien à la paie, au besoin, afin de garantir la continuité des opérations de paie.
- Fournir des conseils sur les politiques RH ainsi que sur l'interprétation et l'application de la convention collective.
- Offrir du coaching à l’équipe de gestion afin de favoriser le développement de compétences de gestion efficaces.
- Conseillez l'équipe de gestion sur les questions de gestion de la performance et de résolution de conflits.
- Gérer les dossiers d'accidents liés au travail et les dossiers d'invalidité, y compris les dossiers ICD/ILD.
- Maintenir la conformité avec la législation actuelle sur le travail et la santé et la sécurité.
- Gérez les griefs en soutenant la résolution des différends tout en contribuant à minimiser les coûts juridiques pour l’entreprise.
- Diriger des enquêtes internes sur des questions liées à l'emploi.
- Rechercher et recueillir des informations sur des sujets liés aux RH, analyser les KPI et les données, préparer des rapports et formuler des recommandations.
- Effectuez d'autres tâches ou projets connexes, selon les besoins.
Qualifications requises (formation, expérience et compétences)
- Baccalauréat en ressources humaines, relations industrielles ou domaine connexe. CRHA est un atout.
- Un minimum de deux ans d'expérience dans un rôle similaire; l'expérience dans le commerce de détail et/ou dans un environnement syndiqué est un atout.
- Expérience en coaching et conseil aux équipes de gestion.
- Bonne connaissance de la paie, de la législation du travail, de la santé et de la sécurité, ainsi que des meilleures pratiques en ressources humaines.
- Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois et à prendre des décisions éclairées dans un environnement dynamique.
- De solides compétences en jugement et en évaluation, avec une excellente attention aux détails, organisation, gestion du temps et un sens de l'urgence.
- Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office et des systèmes de paie.
- Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et de communication en français et en anglais.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources and Training, the Human Resources Advisor is responsible for employee relations, collective agreement interpretation and compliance, coaching and support for managers and employees, and performance. H&S and disability management (STD/LTD), HR policies, and applicable legislation. The role also provides support and backup to the Payroll & Benefits Specialist, as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with management and employees to foster positive work relationships and support initiatives that contribute to engagement and productivity.
- Serve as payroll backup and support, as needed, to ensure continuity of payroll functions.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and the interpretation and application of the collective agreement.
- Provide coaching to the management team to support the development of effective management skills.
- Advise the management team on performance management and conflict resolution matters.
- Manage work-related accident files and disability cases, including STD/LTD files.
- Maintain compliance with current labour and health and safety legislation.
- Handle grievances by supporting dispute resolution while helping to minimize legal costs for the company.
- Lead internal investigations on employment-related matters.
- Research and gather information on HR-related matters, analyze KPIs and data, prepare reports, and make recommendations.
- Perform other related duties or projects, as required.
Required Qualifications (Education, Experience & Skills)
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field; CRHA designation is an asset.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role; experience in retail and/or a unionized environment is an asset.
- Experience coaching and advising management teams.
- Good knowledge of payroll, labour legislation, health and safety, and HR best practices.
- Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong judgment and assessment skills, with excellent attention to detail, organization, time management, and a strong sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both French and English.
