Full job description

Are you a positive, energetic, reliable person, seeking a career?

Venture Parts Supply is currently seeking a counter salesperson in Peace River.

We are a growing, family-owned business in the Peace Region since 1968. Our head office is in Manning, we have branches in Peace River and Falher. The successful candidate would join our team, working Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Alternating Saturdays 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Main duties include:

· Responsible for helping customers in store and on the phone

· Preparing invoices on the company’s computer system

· Placing parts orders and counting inventory

· Taking payments and recording end of day counts

· Keep a neat and organized work area

· Other general duties required by the company

What we are looking for:

· Parts Technician Apprentice (1st or 2nd year preferred)

· Have a valid driver’s license

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs

· Forklift or Skid steer training an asset, willing to train

· Basic computer and email skills

· Dependable & Responsible with a willingness to learn

· Ability to work independently in a team environment

What we offer:

· Wage $20-$24/hr depending on education and experience

· Willing to apprentice and cover tuition

· Starting at 3 weeks’ vacation per year

· Biweekly Direct Deposit Payroll
