We take immense pride in our heritage and the trust our customers have placed in us for generations. At OMS, we believe in not just meeting but exceeding expectations, ensuring every customer interaction is marked by professionalism, integrity, and a genuine passion for the automotive industry.

If you are passionate about the automotive industry and are looking to join a team that values excellence, customer satisfaction, and community, OMS is the place for you. Be a part of our tradition of excellence and contribute to our ongoing success story!

Meet Novus Automotive: In 2024, we launched a forward-thinking dealership brand that encompasses six dealerships across the Durham Region, including OMS. We are Novus Automotive, dedicated to reshaping the relationship between dealerships and drivers by crafting seamless experiences that bring peace of mind to the road.

Position Overview:

As a Client Care Specialist (CCS) at Ontario Motor Sales, your primary responsibility is to guide online customers through their sales journey and create memorable experiences while creating and confirming showroom appointments.

What You'll Do:

  • Inbound lead handling – All inbound internet leads will require meticulous follow up as laid out in the Internet Lead Handline Handling Process which may be amended by the Sales Managers or Team Lead as required.
  • Appointment Coordination – A successful lead handling process results in productive appointments for New and Preowned Sales Staff. The CCS will schedule and confirm sales appointments and report on appointment “shows / no-shows”.
  • Answering in-coming Sales calls – Incoming Sales calls will be handled in a manner similar to internet leads by the CCS with the desired goal of booking and confirming a showroom appointment.
  • Responding to on-line chat inquiries – The CCS will respond to on-line chat inquiries from our website, Facebook Marketplace, and various other OMS digital properties. As a concierge service, the desired outcome is to answer relevant questions and capture lead information with the goal of creating a follow up opportunity.
  • Updating client data withing our CRM – A CCS role in client interactions is not complete until said client’s updated information has been added to Ontario Motor Sales’ data base(s) as directed by the Sales Managers and/or Team Lead. This duty applies equally to existing and new customers. Accurate customer files are paramount to future success.
  • Schedule and Confirm showroom appointments – The CCS will work to escalate phone opportunities, internet leads, and online chat leads into showroom appointments in accordance with the Internet Lead Handling Process.
  • Maintain up to date product and program knowledge – Vehicle specs and programs change on a regular basis, and it is the responsibility of the CCS to maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of vehicle products and manufacturer programs.

What You Bring:

  • A valid OMVIC license is required
  • 2+ years of previous customer service experience
  • Previous dealership experience is considered an asset
  • Strong organization and time-management skills under tight deadlines
  • Skill and willingness to communicate through various means including video, chat, text, phone, and email
  • Computer proficiency including knowledge of MS Windows, CRM software, social media, and various internet applications

What We Offer:

  • Paid Time Off: 5 paid personal days, 3 weeks of vacation time (increased to 4 weeks after 5 years and 5 weeks after 10 years), 2 paid volunteer days, 3 paid bereavement days, and 5 paid new parent leave days.
  • Compensation: ** This role has an annual base salary of $40,000, with the opportunity to earn a monthly bonus based on performance**
  • Comprehensive Benefit Plan: Enrollment in our comprehensive benefit plan starting on day one!
  • Training and Development: Access to comprehensive training and development programs.
  • Employee Perks: Special discounts on vehicles and services across Novus Automotive. Access to Perkopolis, an exclusive online discount platform. Corporate GoodLife Fitness membership discount.

We thank you for your interest in employment with Ontario Motor Sales, however, only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
