Full job description

Candidate would be an experienced horse-person who has worked in the industry. You must be a confident horse-person who is (ideally) looking to forge a career in the horse industry. We also have a 'summer job available'. We operate an active Trail Riding operation and Boarding facility on beautiful Vancouver Island. You must be a self-managing type who can see what needs to be done and move forward in an efficient, safe manner. We offer Trail rides to Locals and Tourists alike and are ambassadors for this wonderful area we call home. A positive, friendly demeanor is required. There will also be feeding and mucking jobs required and a willingness to 'do what needs to be done'. We have a nice studio apartment for our main guide to rent; so as to be onsite for any horse emergencies or to fill in when needed. There may be accommodation available for the part-time position as well. There is an RV Park on site if you happen to own an RV. Horse board available (reduced) if you wish to bring your own horse(s). We operate year-round and are currently starting to build up to the busy summer season. We are looking for someone who would consider a long-term position and could potentially take on more responsibility and management roles. We have a wonderful community on the 125-Acre Horse Ranch and are surrounded by beautiful horses...
