What will you do?

Senseye global Sales and business development team (part of AI-driven Manufacturing – Availability and Maintenance) is seeking a passionate, self-driven, analytically minded Portfolio Sales specialist to support and meticulously drive growth strategy in Americas. This is not a direct sales role, but rather a critical support function designed to accelerate deal velocity and improve sales effectiveness across the Zone Americas.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKET EXPANSION

  • Develop and grow the Senseye Predictive Maintenance business in North America, with a strong focus on new-logo acquisition as well as expansion within existing customers.
  • Engage with industrial customers who are facing challenges such as unplanned downtime, maintenance inefficiency, production losses and shortages of skilled maintenance resources.
  • Sell through a value- and outcome-based approach, positioning Senseye around improved asset reliability, reduced unplanned downtime and improved maintenance efficiency rather than simply selling a software license.
  • Target primarily large, multi-site industrial companies where the solution can scale from an initial deployment across assets, production lines, plants, and ultimately multiple sites.
  • Focus on industries such as Automotive, CPG/Food & Beverage, Life Sciences, Chemicals, Metals, Mining, Cement, Pulp & Paper, Electronics and Semiconductor, among other asset-intensive manufacturing environments.
  • Work closely with Siemens regional/vertical sales teams, solution and project teams, partners and customer stakeholders to identify, qualify and develop opportunities.
  • Develop expansion opportunities around the broader solution where relevant, including connectivity and IT/OT data integration, Edge, sensors and integration with customers' existing data and maintenance environments.
  • Support the full commercial journey from opportunity development and value positioning through adoption, expansion and renewal.

OPPORTUNITY QUALIFICATION & PIPELINE DEVELOPMENT

  • Support and conduct thorough qualification of sales opportunities using established frameworks (BANT, MEDDIC, or similar)
  • Validate opportunity fit against Senseye's ideal customer profile (ICP) with account managers
  • Educate, support, develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with the Sales acceleration team / account managers and Zone business volume targets
  • Assess deal complexity, timeline, and required resources to optimize sales team allocation
  • Prepare clear qualification summaries for account manager handoff/support

SALES ENABLEMENT & SUPPORT

  • Develop and maintain account/prospect research summaries (company overview, pain points, decision-making structure)
  • Support sales presentations by gathering technical requirements (with solution engineering support), creating product fit analyses, and preparing ROI/business case materials
  • Coordinate with Solutions Engineering to ensure technical resources are aligned with deal requirements for account scoping
  • Assist in proposal development, pricing strategy, and deal structuring to support SAC and account managers
  • Prepare post-meeting follow-up materials, next-step documentation, and deal progression tracking

DEAL PROGRESSION & CRM MANAGEMENT

  • Support and monitor accurate, up-to-date records in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) for all opportunities and accounts
  • Track deal progression against defined sales stages and ensure timely escalation of at-risk deals
  • Update weekly/monthly pipeline reports and forecasting summaries for Zone leadership
  • Identify bottlenecks in the sales process and recommend process improvements
  • Ensure all required documentation and approvals are in place before deal closure

STAKEHOLDER COORDINATION

  • Liaise between SAC team, account managers and service delivery teams to align on deal strategy
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, demos, and technical discussions
  • Manage communication timelines and ensure all stakeholders are informed of deal progression
  • Support proposal reviews and ensure alignment across teams before client submission
  • Facilitate escalation paths when deals require executive engagement or complex problem-solving

CUSTOMER RESEARCH & INSIGHTS

  • Conduct discovery calls with prospects to understand business challenges, technical environment, and buying process
  • Document customer pain points, success criteria, and decision-making timelines
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and flag to SAC/account managers
  • Gather customer feedback and case study materials to support marketing and sales efforts

What will you need to succeed?

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, sales development, or a related commercial role, ideally within industrial software, predictive maintenance, SaaS, IoT, automation, or asset intelligence solutions.
  • Proven ability to qualify opportunities and assess fit using established sales methodologies
  • Strong analytical and research skills; comfort working with data and CRM systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
  • Self-motivated and organized; ability to manage multiple opportunities and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office suite
  • Understanding of B2B SaaS sales cycles and enterprise software buying processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support others' success
  • 20-30% travel for account site visits, SAC collaboration, quarterly Zone meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in industrial software, predictive maintenance, IoT, or asset intelligence solutions
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, operations, or industrial verticals
  • Experience supporting sales acceleration or sales operations teams
  • Knowledge of Siemens products, solutions, or corporate culture
  • Experience with sales methodologies (MEDDIC, BANT, Sandler, Challenger Sale)

[Salary is commensurate with experience, and total compensation ranges between $ 150,000.00 CAD - $ 180,000.00 CAD including participation in our Sales Incentive Plan, contingent on achievement of sales targets as defined and updated from time to time by the Company.]
