Canadian Bearings is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to support and grow our customer base in the North Bay area. This is a field-based role focused on building strong customer relationships, understanding operational challenges, and delivering solutions that improve reliability, efficiency, and performance.

What You’ll Own (Day-to-Day)
  • Grow sales and market share within the assigned territory
  • The opening will be based out of our North Bay branch, covering a territory of approximately 100 km in each direction
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular on-site visits, calls, and follow-ups
  • Proactively identify and understand customer needs and operational challenges
  • Deliver value-based solutions that help customers reduce their total cost of ownership
  • Follow Canadian Bearings’ established sales strategy and sales process
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, opportunity tracking, and forecasting in the CRM
  • Collaborate with internal teams including sales, pricing, supply chain, and finance to support customer success
  • Conduct root cause analysis and work with internal and external resources to provide effective solutions
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay current on products, technical solutions, and industry trends
Who You Are (Must-Have)
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand technical solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to make data-informed decisions
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory

Compensation
$65,000 - $80,000
Canadian Bearings provides the salary range for this role to promote pay equity and transparency. The range reflects the anticipated base salary for the position; however, actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. Canadian Bearings is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
