- Review US tax compliance filings and tax provisions (ASC 740) for public and private companies
- Advise on cross‑border tax matters, including structuring, financing, and planning opportunities
- Manage multiple engagements, timelines, and deliverables in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment
- Serve as a primary client contact, building trusted, long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders
- Provide technical leadership through review, coaching, and quality oversight of engagement teams
- Mentor and develop professionals, supporting technical progression and career growth
- Contribute to business development through opportunity identification, proposals, and practice initiatives
What you bring to the role
- Seven or more years of progressive experience in US corporate tax within public accounting or professional services
- Post‑secondary degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- US CPA designation, Enrolled Agent, or US Master of Tax
- Strong technical knowledge of US federal corporate and partnership taxation
- Experience with US tax compliance and ASC 740 provisions for multinational or complex private organizations
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple engagements, and engage effectively with senior client stakeholders
- Proven track record of mentoring professionals and providing clear, actionable feedback
- Experience with US tax compliance software (e.g., CorpTax, OneSource) and advanced Excel skills
- Fluency in English is required; French language capability is considered an asset
