WHO WE ARE

At Maritime Door & Window (MDW), we're more than a supplier we're a proud team of Maritimers dedicated to helping homeowners build spaces filled with comfort, beauty, and pride. From our home base in Moncton, NB, we've spent 50+ years earning the trust of families, builders, and communities across the Maritimes through craftsmanship that stands the test of time.

We believe every door and window tells a story of warmth, of connection, of home. That's why we design and manufacture products that meet the highest standards of durability, energy efficiency, and style. But what truly sets us apart is the people behind them: skilled local experts who put care, integrity, and heart into every project.

Rooted in Maritime values and driven by outstanding quality and service, we’re committed to making homes brighter, stronger, and more welcoming; one opening at a time. At Maritime Door & Window, we’re proud to help our communities open the door to a better tomorrow.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're growing and we're looking for a driven, relationship-first Senior Business Development Manager to help us expand our footprint across the Maritimes. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you'll own the full business development cycle: from identifying new market opportunities to close strategic partnerships with builders, contractors, and commercial clients.

Based in Halifax or Moncton, you'll work closely with our leadership team to shape how MDW grows and you'll have the autonomy, resources, and backing to do it right.

If you're a seasoned sales leader who thrives on building relationships, opening doors (literally and figuratively), and making a tangible impact on your community, this role was built for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own and grow a portfolio of builder, contractor, and commercial accounts across the Maritimes; from prospecting through close and ongoing relationship management.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, multi-unit, and commercial construction segments.
  • Develop and execute a regional business development strategy in partnership with the General Manager and Executive Leadership team and Stakeholders.
  • Represent MDW at industry events, trade shows, and community engagements to build brand presence and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with internal estimating, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless client experiences from quote to installation.
  • Track pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance metrics and report regularly to the General Manager.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer feedback, to inform product and go-to-market decisions.

WHAT YOU BRING

Required:

  • 3-5 years of B2B sales or business development experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience selling to or working within the construction, building materials, or home improvement industry (or a closely adjacent field).
  • Strong relationship-building skills; you're known for earning trust quickly and maintaining it long-term.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both in-person and written.
  • Comfort working independently in a hybrid environment while visiting construction sites, with a high degree of ownership.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally across the Maritimes as needed.

Nice to Have:

  • Existing relationships with builders, general contractors, or property developers in Atlantic Canada.
  • Familiarity with windows, doors, or building envelope products.
  • Experience reading and understanding blueprints/plans.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive base salary based on experience, plus performance-based commission.
  • Hybrid work model; split your time between home, our Moncton and Halifax offices, and client sites.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • RRSP contribution matching.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation and personal days.
  • A company vehicle or vehicle allowance for regional travel.
  • Real growth potential; as MDW expands, so does this role. You'll have a seat at the table.
  • A tight-knit, values-driven team that genuinely cares about the work and each other.

WHY MDW?

We're a Maritime company, built by Maritime people, serving Maritime families, and we take that seriously. When you join MDW, you're joining a team where your work has a direct impact, your voice is heard, and your growth is supported.

We're proud of where we come from. We're even more excited about where we're going, and we want you to help lead the way.
