We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to join our team full-time. This role combines bookkeeping with office administration and offers an excellent opportunity to grow into a senior accounting or operations position as the company expands.

About the Role

This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the company. You'll work closely with the leadership team and be involved in a variety of responsibilities that keep the business running smoothly.

ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Accounting

  • Full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online.
  • Yardie accounting online
  • Builder Trends
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Job costing and project cost tracking.
  • Monthly financial reporting.
  • GST filings.
  • Payroll
  • Assisting with year-end working papers for the accountant.

Administration

  • Organizing digital files and company records.
  • Managing incoming invoices and documentation.
  • Assisting with purchasing and purchase orders.
  • Supporting project managers with administrative tasks.
  • Maintaining Buildertrend, Yardi, and other company software.
  • Preparing reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
  • General office administration and reception duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in construction, real estate, or property management is an asset.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with Buildertrend or Yardi is an asset but not required.
