DESCRIPTION: Nortak Software is currently seeking Programmer/Software Developers with the following qualifications:

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field from a recognized Canadian academic institution or validated by a recognized Canadian academic credentials assessment service

• Minimum three (3) years of experience within the past five (5) years in full-stack development using TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, ExpressJS, and HTML/CSS

• Minimum three (3) years of experience within the past five (5) years working with relational/SQL databases developing data models/schema

• Minimum three (3) years of experience within the past five (5) years using Docker, git version control, and CICD tooling such as Github, Azure DevOps, Gitlab, etc.

• Minimum three (3) years of experience within the past five (5) years developing Cloud based full-stack web applications, and working as part of an Agile and/or Scrum team

• Valid Government of Canada Reliability Status security screening granted by CSP/PSPC

RATED CRITERIA:

• Within the past 5 years, and as part of a delivery team, developed or significantly enhanced products for full-stack functionality in modern web application environments

• Within the past 5 years, completed products involving the sustainment, enhancement, or scaling of an existing production application, particularly where the work supported broader user adoption, additional stakeholder groups, increased functionality, or improved operational continuity

• Within the past 5 years, delivered software implementations that used DevSecOps-aligned practices, such as containerization, source control, CI/CD pipelines, or automated testing, in support of a cloud-based application environment

LOCATION OF WORK:

• Hybrid: Ottawa / Gatineau (NCR) and remote
