Full job description

Qikiqtani Retail Services Limited (QRSL) has been serving the City of Iqaluit for over 20 years. Our core service is gas and retail. We own and operate the Baffin Gas Bar (BGB) conveniently located in Iqaluit’s city core and which is a common place for Iqalummiut to stock up on supplies and to rent survival equipment before going out on the land. We are currently recruiting for a Store Manager for our Baffin Gas Bar, the position is located in Iqaluit, Nunavut.

The idea candidate will have proven management experience in retail operations, demonstrating leadership and accomplishments in operational performance. While leading the operations the Manager will assist QRSL in meeting the strategic goals and position BGB as a competitor in the market.

As a skilled and established leader, the ideal candidate has at least 5 years' retail business experience at a managerial level. Preferably, you will have hands-on experience, and education to support the position. As a results-oriented professional, you will have demonstrated experience leading and building a team with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients and customers while providing Senior Management with the information necessary to ensure the proper oversight of the operations.

The Manager will require a flexible schedule to meet operational requirements.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
