Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Welder to join our team in Richmond, BC. This role involves performing welding repairs, fabrication projects, equipment modifications, and on-site service work within industrial and manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate has strong welding and metal fabrication experience, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. This position offers opportunities for professional growth, training, and advancement within a growing industrial maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding repairs on industrial equipment, machinery, structural components, and production systems.
  • Complete fabrication and custom welding projects based on drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Respond to service calls and perform on-site repairs at customer facilities.
  • Inspect damaged equipment and determine appropriate repair methods.
  • Operate welding equipment, cutting tools, grinders, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Create drawings based on customers requirements
  • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety regulations, and customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, service work, materials used, and project progress.
  • Collaborate with customers, supervisors, and team members to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Journeyman Welder certification preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Additional welding certifications, including CWB qualifications, are considered an asset.
  • Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding processes.
  • Strong metal fabrication, fitting, and repair skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
  • Experience working with industrial equipment, manufacturing facilities, or heavy machinery is an asset.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites for service calls.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift materials, work in confined spaces, and perform demanding tasks as required.What We Offer
