Position Summary:
Under general supervision, operates CNC press brake, shear, plasma table machines to produce quality parts. Requires a working knowledge of various processes and operations to meet production requirements. Full time work shift 8am to 4:30 PM.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Operates Brand New full CNC 660T & 220T brake machine, Hydraulic Shear, CNC Messer Plasma Table, Band Saw, drill presses; with Some 2 person operations.
- Coordinates each job with set-up person to ensure full understanding
- Ability to do simple set-ups on proven jobs according to standards
- Safely loads any tools and dyes necessary for each individual job
- Ensure that route sheets are complete and concise
- Ensure manufacturing drawings have the correct revision level, notes, tolerances, and dimensions
- Complete move tickets, cost over run, and job routing system supplements.
- Inspect all finished parts thoroughly
- Load and unload machines using forklifts & overhead cranes.
- Operates and follows safe work procedures
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to receive verbal or written instructions that pertain to daily tasks
- Ability to listen and take direction
- Ability to learn quickly
- Demonstrate good hand and eye coordination
- Can safely lift 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours
- Able to work overtime as needed
Education & Training/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have previous press brake experience 3+ years
