Finance Manager

About the Organization

Nav Bhatia Group/Mississauga Hyundai is a leading automotive dealership committed to excellence in customer service and sales performance. We are seeking a qualified Finance Manager to join our professional team and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Position Summary

The Finance Manager will oversee financial services operations within the dealership, with primary responsibility for customer retention, departmental profitability optimization, and daily sales administration. This role requires exceptional customer relationship management, strategic profit maximization, and meticulous attention to documentation accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Products and Services

  • Generate incremental revenue through the sale of financial and insurance products, including extended warranties, financing solutions, credit life insurance, accident and health insurance plans, and vehicle accessories
  • Manage all rate quotations, insurance fees, and financing arrangements
  • Submit financing documentation to appropriate lending institutions for approval
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to optimize profit margins on all transactions

Lender Relations and Compliance

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with multiple financing sources
  • Continuously identify and evaluate new credit facilities to secure competitive interest rates and financial programs
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial regulations governing automotive sales, pre-owned vehicles, and finance departments

Documentation and Administration

  • Prepare comprehensive delivery documentation for vehicle preparation services, including rust proofing, fabric protection, and accessory installation
  • Verify accuracy of all documentation, including titles, tax calculations, and lien information
  • Review sale and lease contracts for accuracy regarding taxes, signatures, vehicle descriptions, and other critical details
  • Maintain adequate inventory of all contracts and documents required for sales finalization

Customer Service

  • Address post-delivery customer inquiries related to warranties and loan payouts
  • Provide detailed explanations of manufacturer and dealership policies to customers
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the financing process

Leadership and Training

  • Supervise and train designated backup personnel
  • Provide ongoing training to all Sales Personnel on finance and insurance products
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-3 years of automotive sales experience required
  • Licensing: Valid OMVIC (Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council) license
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of automotive finance and insurance products
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship management skills
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation and sales capabilities
