Position

Professional Mover / Driver-Mover
Location: Toronto / GTA
Company: CARGO CABBIE Moving & Storage
Compensation: $20 - $25 - $30+
Schedule: [Full-time / Seasonal / Weekdays and weekends]

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the CARGO CABBIE team, you will help complete residential, condo, commercial, packing, and white-glove moving projects across Toronto and the GTA.

Responsibilities include:

• Wrapping, padding, protecting, loading, and unloading furniture properly.
• Moving household goods, office items, fragile pieces, artwork, and specialty items with care.
• Disassembling and reassembling basic furniture when required.
• Loading trucks safely and securely to prevent damage during transport.
• Working with team leads to complete moves efficiently and professionally.
• Communicating respectfully with clients, teammates, and office staff.
• Following company safety procedures and protecting floors, walls, elevators, and client property.
• Representing CARGO CABBIE with a clean, professional, and respectful attitude at every job.

Professional moving, delivery, warehouse, construction, furniture handling, or physical labour experience is preferred.

You work well with others, follow direction, communicate clearly, and support the crew.

Positive Under Pressure
Moving days can be busy. We need people who stay focused, respectful, and solutions-minded.

Requirements

• Professional moving experience preferred.
• Experience with furniture wrapping, padding, loading, and unloading is an asset.
• Valid Ontario G licence is an asset for Driver-Mover applicants.
• Experience driving 16 ft, 20 ft, or 26 ft trucks is a strong asset.
• Must be available for early starts, weekends, long shifts, and occasional evenings.
• Must be comfortable with physically demanding work.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must be punctual, respectful, and able to work as part of a team.
