"Join our team and become a culinary mastermind!

Are you ready to create mouth-watering dishes with exceptional precision? We're looking for a talented individual to take on the role of Line Cook.

Here's what you'll be doing:

· Masterfully prepare consistently excellent food using established recipes and portioning guidelines.

· Take charge of opening and closing duties, maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards in the kitchen.

· Collaborate with our Catering Coordinator to ensure all banquet event orders are flawlessly executed.

· Skillfully prep food items for service, avoiding any unnecessary waste.

· Safeguard food quality by diligently dating and rotating containers while adhering to proper temperature guidelines.

· Proactively monitor inventory levels, identifying potential shortages and communicating any out-of-stock items.

· Assist in devising strategies to optimize food costs, minimize waste, and control usage.

· Seamlessly operate and maintain a variety of kitchen equipment, including deep fryers, broilers, steamers, and more.

· Be a reliable team player, always willing to lend a hand where needed.

· Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, embodying our commitment to excellence.

Here's what we're looking for in our ideal candidate:

· A self-starting personality with a consistently calm disposition.

· Previous cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

· Possession of a valid food handler's certification.

· Impeccable professionalism and appearance at all times.

· A team-oriented mindset, always ready to support others.

· Experience in banquet preparation is a plus.

· Experience in preparing Western comfort food.

· Proficient in computer skills.

· Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items in a commercial kitchen, on a regular basis

Must be a Canadian Permanent Resident or have an Open Work Permit

Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour
