Pay: CAD $60.82 - $63.42 per hour

We are currently hiring Red Seal Journeyperson Industrial Mechanics for our Saskatchewan operations in Esterhazy and Colonsay. Qualified candidates may be considered for either location based on experience, qualifications, and business needs.

What You'll Do

As a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic, you will safely and efficiently inspect, install, diagnose, maintain, repair, fabricate, modify, and overhaul plant and mining equipment in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect, install, adjust, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Dismantle, repair, assemble, and troubleshoot plant equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Fabricate and modify equipment as required.
• Perform precision maintenance activities and laser alignment.
• Use drawings, blueprints, sketches, prints, and parts manuals to complete work assignments.
• Safely utilize power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and maintenance equipment.
• Operate and maintain equipment that has been serviced or repaired.
• Safely operate mobile equipment, overhead cranes, and related equipment as required.
• Work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Work in shop, field, surface, and underground environments as assigned.
• Complete required documentation and communicate maintenance findings.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and operational policies and procedures.
• Participate in training and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications Required

• Recognized Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate.
• Red Seal Certification.
• Full knowledge of the safe use of power and hand tools.
• Full knowledge of cutting and welding practices.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate corrective action.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including criminal background, drug, and alcohol testing.

Preferred

• Experience working in mining, industrial, manufacturing, or heavy process environments.
• Experience servicing plant or underground mining equipment.
• Experience with precision maintenance and laser alignment.
• Strong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience.

Work Environment

• Work may be performed in shop, field, surface, or underground settings.
• Shift work, weekend work, overtime, and varying schedules may be required depending on site operational needs.
• Candidates must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the job in an industrial environment.
