Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Red Seal Journeyperson Insulator to work with our contractors. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining insulation systems across various projects, ensuring energy efficiency and safety standards are met. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality results on time and within scope, contributing to the success of diverse building initiatives. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for experienced insulators to showcase their craftsmanship in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Duties

  • Install insulation and cladding materials using hand tools to ensure proper sealing and thermal performance
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately execute insulation plans
  • Use hand tools such as knives, and snips and to cut, shape, and secure insulation and cladding
  • Conduct inspections of installed insulation for quality control, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly

Requirements

  • Valid Red Seal certification as a Journeyperson Insulator with proven experience in the field
  • Strong knowledge of insulation materials including fiberglass, mineral wool, and metal cladding
  • Proficiency in using hand tools essential for insulation installation and cladding tasks
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately
  • Excellent attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues
  • Commitment to safety practices and adherence to workplace health regulations

Pay: $45.03-$61.04 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 70.0 per week
