It’s 9:47pm. A new lead just hit your CRM. What do you do?

The customer is online. They’re shopping. And there’s a very good chance they’re shopping at more than one dealership. Are you the person who gets there first?

Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC is looking for an experienced, tech-savvy Sales Consultant who knows how to turn website inquiries, GM/OEM leads, third-party leads, social media messages, trade-in requests, finance inquiries and the classic “What’s your best price?” into conversations, appointments and sales.

We’re one of the largest GM dealerships in Canada and we’re looking for someone who can keep up.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Respond quickly and professionally to a high volume of e-leads and Internet inquiries.
  • Manage leads from our website, GM/OEM sources, third-party automotive sites, social media, chat, email, trade-in and finance inquiries.
  • Connect with customers through email, phone and text.
  • Qualify opportunities and convert Internet leads into appointments and showroom visits.
  • Follow up consistently and strategically so no lead gets left behind.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, notes and follow-up activity in our CRM.
  • Stay current on GM products, inventory, features and incentives.
  • Participate in daily management check-ins regarding active leads, appointments and opportunities.

ARE YOU OUR NEXT SALESPERSON?

  • Previous sales experience REQUIRED. Automotive sales experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient with technology and comfortable working with CRM systems and multiple digital platforms.
  • Fast, organized and able to manage a high volume of leads without letting opportunities slip.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable communicating through email, text and phone.
  • Persistent, competitive and highly motivated.
  • Customer-first mentality with strong follow-up skills.
  • Coachable and always looking to improve.
  • Valid OMVIC licence.
  • Clean driving abstract.
