About the Company: An established optometry clinic located in Guelph, known for its comprehensive eye care services and community involvement, is seeking a Full-Time Lead Optometrist. This clinic has developed a vast and dedicated client base. It offers a range of specialized services including specialty contact lenses and myopia control.

Role Description: The Lead Optometrist will oversee clinical operations and provide full-scope optometry services. This role includes flexible working hours from Monday to Saturday. The position involves working with advanced diagnostic equipment within a supportive team environment and collaborating closely with local ophthalmologists to enhance patient care.

Clinic Features:

  • Three fully-equipped exam lanes.
  • Advanced diagnostic tools including Maestro OCT, Lensmeter, Humphrey Visual Field, Optomap, and Tonometer III.
  • Strong collaborative ties with local healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive eye exams and specialized optical services.
  • Lead and manage clinic staff and operations.
  • Foster and maintain excellent patient relationships.
  • Engage in community initiatives to promote vision health.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in LASIK, eye exams, and additional relevant optometric skills.
  • Experience in managing a clinical setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Licensed to practice optometry in Ontario.
