Maxfield is a progressive, experienced, and leading manufacturer well-known for its high-quality products. This includes the designing, engineering, fabrication, and packaging, and servicing of a wide range of pressure vessels, pipe spooling, structural skids, and cargo transports; and service of trucks and transports, natural resources (oil, natural gas, and mining), propane distribution, power generation and cryogenic industries across Canada.

We currently have an opening for:

(1) Assembler (Service Technician) Permanent Full Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

Some duties to include but willing to train the right individual

. The successful candidate needs to be knowledgeable about Electrical wiring installations, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.

. Must be able to complete documents pertaining to the inspection program

. Willingness to learn new skills pipefitting and inspections related to pressure vessels, both transport and storage.

. Field service work is required (experience with NH3 and LPG equipment an asset).

This is an hourly paid position based on experience with the opportunity for overtime. We provide a clean safe work environment with an excellent benefit package.

Qualifications:

Training will be provided by Maxfield if needed.

. Current Overhead Crane, Forklift, Fall Protection and First Aid training is an asset.

. Pressure pipefitting/plumbing experience an asset

. Valid driver's license, clean drivers abstract required.

. Mechanics tool

. Steel-toed safety boots required

. Willingness to travel
