  • Contribute to the development of closure and reclamation plans in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of technical documentation, provide support to field teams, and collaborate closely with related disciplines.

Technical Deliverables and Documentation

  • Prepare and contribute to the production of comprehensive, rigorous, and high-quality engineering reports that meet technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Produce technical deliverables adapted to the various study phases (Concept, PEA, PFS, FS, and detailed engineering).
  • Draft technical memoranda, design criteria, and detailed stability analyses, ensuring clarity, consistency, and traceability of assumptions and results.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mining consulting engineering, with in-depth expertise in mine tailings management.
  • Strong experience in the design, operation, and management of tailings storage facilities (TSFs), including water management and geotechnical characterization of mining materials.
  • Active member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), with a strong working knowledge of the GISTM standard and CDA and MAC guidelines.

Interpersonal and Professional Skills

  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, with strong mentoring capabilities and proven effectiveness in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Strong critical and analytical mindset, solution-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to make sound technical decisions in a timely manner.
