Marine Technician Helper / Apprentice
SWS Boatworks – Muskoka, ON

SWS Boatworks is looking for a motivated and reliable Marine Technician Helper to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, loves boats and the outdoors, and wants to build a career in the marine industry. This a pefect opportunity for someone looking for a caree in the boating indusrty.

What You'll Do

  • Assist Marine Technicians with boat maintenance, repairs, and rigging in the shop and on the water
  • Perform basic service
  • Assist in driving and delivering boats by water and land
  • Prepare boats for delivery, storage, and customer use
  • Clean and organize the shop, tools, and work areas
  • Assist with launching, hauling, and moving boats
  • Support technicians with parts handling and inventory
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a professional work environment

What We're Looking For

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in boats, engines, or trades
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license (G Class preferred)
  • Boating experience
  • Positive attitude and team-first mindset
  • Previous experience with marine, automotive, powersports, or mechanical work is an asset but not required
