Full job description

Maple Lodge Farms, Fleming Chicks Hatchery Division is looking to hire for Part-Time General Labour.

Start: ASAP

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday starting at 5:25am to completion. Approximately 20-30 week.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working in a hatchery environment, handling of live baby chicks
  • Handling and examining un-hatched egg and recording findings (training and SOPs provided)
  • Helping with Sanitation, ensuring that facility meets requirements of sanitation program
  • Other duties as required
  • Previous experience working in agriculture an asset

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.91 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Beamsville, ON L3J 1B5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
