Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations at our food production plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all manufacturing equipment and facilities. This leadership role requires a strong background in industrial maintenance, project management, and team supervision to support continuous production and operational excellence.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance of all plant equipment.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee maintenance schedules utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Manage projects related to equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and safety enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and low voltage systems using schematics and technical manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations related to industrial maintenance.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment histories.
  • Coordinate with production departments to minimize downtime and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the installation, calibration, and testing of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and procurement processes for maintenance supplies.
  • Provide leadership in training team members on new procedures, safety protocols, and technical skills.

Requirements

  • Proven management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably within a food production setting.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial maintenance practices, and safety standards.
  • Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and low voltage wiring.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking work orders and maintenance history.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with supervisory experience leading maintenance teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate across departments effectively.
  • Ability to manage complex projects from inception through completion while maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
