CNC Machinist
MacKenzie Atlantic Tool & Die | Machining Ltd.
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
$27–$32/hour (based on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing
- Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines (3, 4, and 5-axis)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet tight tolerances and quality standards
- Work with a team to continuously improve processes and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We’re Looking For
- Experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of machining principles and tooling
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Experience with Mazak, Fanuc, or similar controls is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, team-oriented, and motivated to learn and grow
