Operations Coordinator & UI/UX background

Location: Richmond, BC (Office-Based)

Beyond energy, our non-oil and gas divisions focus on galvanized products and OEM parts.

Role Objective

The Operations Coordinator and UI/UX background is a hybrid creative and operations role that ensures our marketing visuals are directly aligned with client needs and operational realities. By actively engaging in logistics, mill production updates, and buyer communications, this individual will bring valuable context into the design process, creating visuals and materials that resonate with target audiences across multiple industries.

Working alongside the Marketing & Client Relations Coordinator, this role will also lead and coordinate two dedicated graphic designers—guiding creative direction, ensuring brand consistency, and delivering impactful content that supports sales and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX background

  • Lead and coordinate two dedicated graphic designers, managing timelines, priorities, and creative output.
  • Design and deliver marketing and promotional materials for digital, print, and client-facing use.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Client Relations Coordinator to ensure design aligns with client insights and messaging.
  • Develop creative assets for social media campaigns, website updates, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Support conference, trade show, and event branding (booth design, presentations, digital/print collateral).

Operations Coordination

  • Track mill production and logistics schedules, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
  • Coordinate trucking, shipping, and delivery timelines with internal teams and external partners.
  • Provide regular operations updates to the Marketing & Client Relations Coordinator for client communication.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure a seamless buyer experience from production to delivery.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in UI/UX background, marketing, or communications, ideally with exposure to operations or logistics.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design tools.
  • Native-level English fluency with excellent communication and copywriting skills.
  • Mandarin language skills are a strong asset.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to balance creative design work with operational responsibilities.
  • Collaborative, able to support and coordinate a design team while working closely with marketing and sales.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: CA $55,000 – 65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Final salary confirmed following successful completion of the probationary period.
